January 16th, 2025

Dear Stingray Parents and Guardians,

This Monday, January 20th, we honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. At Stevenson Elementary, we honor his enduring legacy of peaceful activism, justice, and equality by embodying these principles in our daily actions through our core values. Just as Dr. King built bridges between communities and advocated for understanding across differences, our commitment to Community and Respect creates an inclusive environment where every student feels welcomed and valued. Through these values, Dr. King's dream lives on in our school community, inspiring the next generation to build a better world.

The California Schools Dashboard that the state produces each year is available publicly now.  This Dashboard shows the results on a variety of indicators (Math, ELA, English Learner progress, Absenteeism, Suspensions, and Science).  Stevenson is doing very well, with the indicators for Academics and Absenteeism at the blue (highest) level. Please click here to explore the state website for more details.

Warm Regards,

Terri Lambert, Principal

Megan Pohlman, Interim Principal
