January 30th, 2025

Dear Stingray Parents and Guardians,

It is with no small amount of wonderment that I write this farewell message to you all.  It is still hard to believe that I will no longer be working . . . anywhere!  In all seriousness, as hard as it is to leave this profession and this community, it is easier knowing that you are in good hands with the dedication and skills of Principal Pohlman and this amazing staff.

It has been an honor to work with you to provide an excellent education for your child.  Seeing the will and determination of so many parents to collaborate with educators to enhance the learning of every child at Stevenson is heartwarming.  I am inspired by your dedication to volunteerism, to improving the lives of all children, and to building community.  My sincerest wish is that staff continue to be supported by this incredible school community.  Their expertise as educators serves your children well and deserves your unswerving support.

Whatever my life brings next, I will remain steadfast in my dedication to helping others and I hope that each of you in your own way you will do the same!  I leave you with these convictions that guide all my actions,

Stand up for what is right, even if you stand alone.

                                                          Suzy Kassem

A life of courage in the defense of and service to others is a life well-lived.

                                                                                  Principal Lambert

Please give your children a hug from me.  I will miss them!

Principal Lambert

Here is a closer look at all the Arts Focus classes.    Volunteer sign up sheet    Your weekly assignment might vary each week. Please check the post near the office on Thursday morning to verify.
