Dear Stingray Parents and Guardians,
These past 4 weeks of Arts Focus classes have been amazing! THANK YOU to the dozens and dozens and dozens of volunteers that have dedicated their time and energy to making this happen for every student. And special thank you to the leads that have spent even more time organizing the curriculum and the chairpersons who have been working since last spring to organize everything and liaise with me. I am looking forward to the remaining 2 weeks on Dec. 12 and 19.
The next district-wide iReady assessment is Diagnostic 2 for all grades starting on Dec 3. Students will take both reading and math and we use this assessment to measure academic growth and determine what areas of support each student needs. Talk to your child about being in the Show What You Know spirit whenever they work on an assessment.
Enjoy the vacation week!
Warm Regards,
Terri Lambert
Principal, Stevenson Elementary
