Dear Stingray Parents and Guardians,
Teacher Transitions: New Adventures Ahead!
As the school year comes to a close, we want to recognize several of our dedicated Stevenson teachers who will be embarking on new professional adventures next year:
Moving to New Schools
Lisa Sterner
After many wonderful years at Stevenson, Lisa will be joining the team at Monta Loma.
Jennifer So
Jennifer, who has been an integral part of Stevenson for many years, will be bringing her talents to Theuerkauf Elementary School next year.
Anne Lei
Anne will also be joining the Theuerkauf Elementary School community, where she'll continue inspiring students with her passion for education.
Grade Level Transitions at Stevenson
Maja Engelhardt
Maja will be moving from Kindergarten to 2nd grade, bringing her enthusiasm and expertise to a new group of Stevenson students.
Allison Easley
After joining Stevenson this year, Allison will be transitioning to Kindergarten, where she'll welcome our youngest learners.
Respecting Privacy During Transition
While we're excited to celebrate these changes, we kindly ask the Stevenson community to respect the privacy of our transitioning teachers. Career decisions are personal, and we encourage supporting our colleagues without asking numerous questions about their choices. A simple "congratulations" or "best wishes" is a wonderful way to show support. Wishing Our Colleagues the Best!
We're excited for the new opportunities that await these educators. Please join us in congratulating them on their new positions!
With gratitude,
Megan Pohlman, Principal

Middle school readiness assemblies for fifth-graders
The Mountain View Police Department School Resource Officers (SROs) are committed to working with our schools to support the well-being of all of our students.
As part of their ongoing work to build positive, supportive relationships with our students, the SROs have partnered with school administrators to schedule an educational presentation designed to help our incoming sixth graders navigate middle school with confidence and responsibility. In May, SROs will visit each elementary school to present strategies to fifth-graders for making healthy, safe choices.
