Dear Stingray Parents and Guardians,

As a school community, we work together to ensure every student's safety and well-being. We want to remind all families about our student drop-off procedures, which reflect our shared values of community, respect, and collaboration.

Please do not use the district office parking lot for parking your car or for dropping off your student from your car. The district office area lacks the supervision and safety measures we have in place at our designated school drop-off zones. When students are dropped off near the district office, they must navigate through areas with vehicle traffic without adequate adult supervision, creating unnecessary safety risks.

Working Together for Safety Our community thrives when we collaborate and show respect for established safety procedures. For the safety of all our students, please use only the designated drop-off areas at Stevenson School, where we have:

  • Staff supervision during drop-off hours

  • Established traffic flow patterns designed with input from our school community

  • Clear pedestrian pathways

  • Safety protocols developed through collaborative planning

Building Community Through Shared Responsibility By following these procedures, you demonstrate respect for our collective commitment to student safety and show consideration for other families navigating the morning routine. Your collaboration helps create a positive start to each school day for everyone in our community.

If you have questions about our drop-off procedures or suggestions for improvement, please contact the main office. We value your partnership and input as we work together to maintain a safe, respectful environment for all students.

Thank you for being an essential part of our Stevenson community.

With gratitude,

Megan Pohlman, Principal
