Parent Conferences are next week and our goal is 100% attendance. Please be sure to arrive on time and respect the time frame assigned. Teachers are always available for follow-up emails or meetings.
It’s the Holiday Boutique on the 13th! So many families have signed up to be vendors and I am eager to shop. Thank you to Alexis MacGregor and her Social Committee Team for putting this annual event together.
The PACT-sponsored Stanford Blood Drive is tomorrow, Saturday, Dec. 2nd. Thank you to Katy Crain for organizing!

Minimum Days: Conference Week: 12/4-12/8
We have minimum days everyday next week to accommodate parent-teacher-student conferences, all students will be released at 12:05pm.
Reminder: Gate Locking Information
Each morning after the 8:10 bell rings all gates will be locked, back field and front gates. All tardies must go through the office to receive a tardy slip. Students being dropped off late at the back gate will need to go around to the office. Gates will be unlocked ~5 minutes before dismissal.

Reporting Absences
Please call the office at (650) 903-6950 or email Renae Rhodes at [email protected] and Kass Madrid at [email protected] to report an absence or late arrival. Provide the following information: date of absence, student’s name, grade and room number, reason for absence, name and relationship of the person reporting the absence.
PACT FOUNDATION UPDATES
Family Giving Tree
Family Giving Tree fulfills the holiday wishes of 80,000 local children, adults, and seniors in need. In the Stevenson office, there are wish cards and an envelope if you’d rather donate gift cards or cash/checks. Please consider selecting a wish card and commit to bringing in the new item that is requested, unwrapped, and be sure to include a new toothbrush with every gift. Instructions are on the cards, and I’m happy to answer any questions. All gifts are due back to the office by December 7th. You can also bring new, unopened toys, and the value should be between $25-$50. My kids love picking out a tag and shopping for a special gift to donate, it’s become a fun family tradition we look forward to. I’m excited to see how many gifts our Stevenson community can contribute this year!

Holiday Boutique
Thank you to everyone who has signed up to be vendors for the Holiday Boutique. We have over 50 vendors this year. You can expect to find a variety of offerings from baked goods to handmade jewelry to plushies. I can't wait to see all of this come to fruition.
If you are interested in becoming a vendor, vendor sign-ups close this Friday.

MVEF Update: Save us a Call
The amount donated to MVEF so far this year is slightly less than in previous years. MVEF volunteers will soon be reaching out directly to inform our community about the need for donations each year. You can save us a call by donating today! Visit mvef.org/donate today!
This year, community donations to MVEF are providing:

More than 8,500 Art4Schools lessons in 130 TK-5th Grade classrooms.

Over 17,000 Music4Schools lessons in 170 TK-5th Grade Classrooms.

Over 500 Living Classroom lessons for all students in TK-6th grade.

Environmental Science lessons and field trips for all 4th and 5th graders.

Additional English Language Arts teachers to reduce the average class size in grades 6-8.

Supplemental funding for Performing Arts, Music, and Athletics Teams in grades 6-8.

City of MV: Tree Lighting Celebration
On Monday, Dec. 4, 2023 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. the City will celebrate the winter season with the Community Tree Lighting Celebration in Downtown Mountain View. The celebration will feature local performances, tributes to multicultural and diverse traditions, free refreshments, a train ride, games, crafts, the lighting of the community tree and an appearance from Santa. Letters to Santa
This holiday season, all children who are residents of Mountain View can put together their wish lists and letters and send them to Santa! In return, Santa will mail a letter back! Letters will be accepted until Friday, Dec. 8. There are two ways for Santa to receive letters: 1) Drop off in Santa’s mailbox located at the Mountain View Community Center (201 S. Rengstorff Avenue) or 2) Mail letter to: City of Mountain View Recreation Division c/o Santa Claus P.O. box 7540, Mountain View, CA 94039. Don’t forget to include a return address!
