01.21.2021

Dear Stingray Parents and Guardians,

Yesterday morning I had the pleasure of joining Mr. Kyle’s morning check-in with students. There was excitement in his classzoom as Mr. Kyle was facilitating a conversation with students about Inauguration Day. During the morning check-in Mr. Kyle streamed part of President Biden’s speech.  This was a great moment to share with students as our country swore in the 46th President and with Vice President Kamala Harris being the first female, first Black, and first South Asian vice president. I hope that you were able to connect with your friends and family on this historic day for our country.

Our district is continuing the conversation on the process of reopening schools.  Please join the Board of Trustees meeting this evening to hear a presentation on reopening and our district’s Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP). There is also a community check-in meeting with Dr. Rudolph this Friday at 3:30pm.

Sincerely,

Ryan Santiago

Principal, Stevenson Elementary
