Dear Stingray Parents and Guardians,

It has been a great start to the school year! We are excited to see our Stingrays back on campus. The past two days have been full of fun and excitement as students filled our classrooms. We are looking forward to a wonderful school year ahead!!

This year, Stingrays will focus on becoming bucket fillers! Bucket-fillers are people who act in a way that fills another person's bucket, and refers to those who practice kindness and good behavior. Mrs. Lyons and I are joining classrooms this week to talk to students about bucket filling. When your child comes home today, ask them how they have filled a bucket!

Here is a read-aloud of Mrs. Lyons and I reading, “Have You Filled a Bucket Today?”

Just a reminder that tomorrow, Friday, August 13th is our first full day of school.

The data from these assessments gives our teachers and parents insight into each students’ academic progress. We look forward to working together to help each student grow.
