Dear Stingray Parents and Guardians,
It’s Stevenson’s day at Baskin Robbins on El Camino Real this Monday, Sept 25th from 11:00 to 10:00 p.m.. Bring the family and some friends and enjoy a scoop or two! Stevenson PACT will receive 20% of all sales.
As you know attendance is critical. Did you know that missing just two days a month results in lower achievement rates? Building good attendance habits now will help students in their future independent life as well. If you need support with motivating your child to come to school on time and regularly, please reach out to us!
The very important Class Meetings are taking place this month. We are excited about having the volunteers begin in the classrooms in just 2 weeks! If you are scheduled to volunteer please be sure to have all the required documents submitted to the district office by Tuesday!!
The 5th grade parents provided a delicious potluck lunch for staff today. Thank you to all!
Best Regards,
Terri Lambert

The new storage shed on campus is ready for us to move our Arts Focus, STEAM, WAT, Social, and ImPACT supplies to. These committees are working to organize the move, but WE NEED SOME HELP. Do you have a dolly, cart, wagon, or something else we can borrow on Saturday to move our things? Please label it with your name and bring it to school on Saturday, September 23 at 11am and plan to pick it up at 4pm. If you cannot drop it off and pick it up during those hours, please email Kim ([email protected]) to make other arrangements. If you can, please come and help us move. All of these committees do AMAZING things for your students, so please consider returning the favor by helping with this move. Please sign up here, if you can help or bring something.

Better Together: September
This month, #BetterTogether explores identity and celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month, which are both essential components of fostering inclusive and enriching schools in MVWSD. Recognizing and respecting the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and identities of students not only promotes a sense of belonging and allyship but also encourages a more comprehensive and meaningful learning experience for all. Hispanic Heritage Month, in particular, provides an opportunity to appreciate the rich tapestry of Hispanic/Latino cultures, their contributions to society, and the stories of Hispanic/Latino students within our own community. Celebrate with us this month! We are #BetterTogetherMVWSD. For more information about Better Together, visit mvwsd.org/BetterTogetherMVWSD.
Volunteer with MVEF!
MVEF needs 1-3 additional volunteers at each school in MVWSD. MVEF school representatives help the families at their school understand what MVEF is and why it exists so that they are inspired to donate and spread the word about the impact of MVEF funding. MVEF also needs volunteers to help with planning our annual Gala and other community events. To learn more, visit: https://www.mvef.org/volunteer
